How do I notify an exceptional event to the WOAH?

Please send an immediate notification as soon as the disease is first confirmed. Do not wait for the disease to spread to notify its occurrence to the WOAH. The other countries need to know what is happening in your country as soon as the event occurs in order to take the necessary preventive measures.

Please notify the first outbreak(s) in your immediate notification. Subsequent outbreaks (if any) can be notified in the follow-up reports.

Please do not create a new immediate notification each time a new outbreak is identified, several outbreaks can be notified in a single report/event.
